The mother plant is shown in the first photo for reference. This plant was grown from one of its corms, making it a true offset from my established mother plant. Alocasia 'Regal Shield' is known for its dramatic oversized foliage and architectural form. The Albo variegated form is exceptionally uncommon, with creamy white sectoral and marbled variegation that makes every leaf unique.
Care: Thrives in bright, indirect light, warm temperatures, and evenly moist but well-draining media. While Alocasias are often recommended for high humidity, my mother plant has been thriving here in Nevada in ambient household humidity, typically around 30–40% (and sometimes lower), showing that with proper care they can adapt very well to drier conditions.
